Sizes assume the product is folded or boxed the way it normally ships. If you add an inner polybag or tissue, stay with the same size; if you add a box, go one size up.

When the answer is a carton, not a bag
- Rigid items over 1 kg: kitchenware, small appliances, glass.
- Anything that must not bend: framed prints, hard-cover books in quantity.
- Items longer than 18 inches on one side.

52 micron or 60 micron?
Use 52 micron for soft goods such as clothing and textiles. Use 60 micron where the contents have a hard edge or weigh over 500 g, where the bag is marketplace printed, or where the courier is rough. The table marks the safer choice for each product. The difference is a few paise per bag and it removes most sorting-cage splits.
