Meesho Packaging Guidelines 2026: Courier Bag Sizes (MSB1 to MB7), Label Placement and Weight Tips

Meesho pays you per order and charges you per shipment weight slab, so the bag you pack in decides two things: whether the parcel survives the sorting hub, and whether you lose margin to a heavier slab than you needed. This guide covers the Meesho courier bag size codes (MSB1 to MB7), which size fits which product, where the shipping label goes, and the packing habits that cut returns.

Quick answer: most Meesho apparel orders ship in an 8 x 10 inch (MB2) or 10 x 12 inch (MB3) tamper-proof courier bag at 60 micron. Pick a bag about 2 inches larger than the folded product on each side, paste the Meesho label flat on the printed label box, and never cover the barcode with tape.

How to choose the size in ten seconds

  1. Fold the product the way it will ship and measure the folded length and width.
  2. Add 2 inches to each side. A folded kurti at 8 x 10 inches needs a 10 x 12 (MB3) bag.
  3. If the product is thick (shoes, hoodies, bedsheets), add 3 inches instead of 2 so the seal still closes flat.
  4. When two sizes both fit, take the smaller one. Meesho shipping is charged by weight slab, and a smaller bag weighs less and packs flatter.

Where the Meesho label goes

Printed Meesho bags have a label box on the face. Paste the shipping label inside that box, flat, with no tape across the barcode. Couriers scan the barcode at every hub, and a crease or a strip of tape over it is the most common reason a parcel gets stuck as "scan failed". If you print the label at home, trim it to the box size so the edges do not peel in transit.

52 micron or 60 micron for Meesho?

Meesho printed bags come in 60 micron. The extra thickness over a 52 micron plain bag matters most on marketplace shipments because the parcel is handled with hundreds of others in sorting cages. 60 micron resists corner splits, holds the tamper-proof seal under pressure, and keeps rain out. For your own-store shipments where the parcel moves through fewer hands, a 52 micron plain bag is enough. Read the courier bag size chart for the micron comparison.

Packing habits that cut Meesho returns

  • Fold flat, not rolled. A rolled garment creates a bump that breaks the seal and looks careless on delivery.
  • One order, one bag. Meesho pays per shipment. Two products in one order go in one bag of the next size up.
  • Seal once. The adhesive strip is permanent. Check the label and contents before you press it down.
  • Keep the invoice inside. A printed invoice inside the bag avoids a dispute when a customer claims a wrong item.
  • Photograph the packed parcel. One photo of the sealed bag with the label visible settles most return-to-origin claims.

Frequently asked questions

Does Meesho require printed Meesho bags?

No. Meesho accepts any tamper-proof courier bag with the label pasted correctly. Printed Meesho bags are a seller choice: they look professional, have a marked label box, and signal to the courier that the parcel is a marketplace shipment.

Which Meesho bag size is most used?

MB2 (8 x 10) and MB3 (10 x 12) cover most apparel and accessory orders. If you sell one category, buy those two sizes in packs of 100 and add others as needed.

Can I use the same bag for Flipkart and Amazon?

A plain tamper-proof bag works on every marketplace. Printed bags are marketplace-specific. If you sell on all three, keep plain bags for the smaller channels and printed bags for your main one. See the full courier bag range.

What is the minimum order?

Packs start at 50 bags per size. Packs of 100 and above are cheaper per piece, and orders above 500 pieces get a bulk quote. Every order ships with a GST invoice and free shipping across India from Jaipur.
